1. Is one who knows his church members. Nobody wants to be known as one of the masses.

2. Is one who loves his church members more than money and material things.

3. Is one who is available for his church members especially when they are undergoing tough times.

4. Is one who is open and transparent about the state of the church especially on how church funds are being used.

5. Is one who leads his church by personal example. He must be above reproach. Also, you can't successfully teach your members to pray whilst you sit at home watching television.

6. Is one who seek to please God and not a man-pleaser.

7. Is one who does his best to feed his church members with the Word of God. People don't want their time to be wasted.

8. Is one who treats all church members the same. Nobody wants a pastor who shows favouritism.

9. Is one who treats his wife and children well.

10. Is one who shows good leadership. People like to follow someone who knows where he is going and what he is doing.
